Membership Fees During Coronavirus Pandemic
Given the exceptional nature of the 2020/21 season, our subscription rates fluctuated in response to changes in Covid social distancing guidelines. As a Club, we tried to set rates which reflected the restrictions for play but also encouraged new membership and therefore made good use of the tennis courts during a difficult year. This proved very successful, with a 31% increase in adult members and a 300% increase in families. The decision to reduce rates was made possible by the award of a Covid grant from Selby District Council, which partially offset the reduction in subscription fees and match income. As the 2021/22 season starts, the Club still has funds left over from the grant and we have decided to use this, again, to offer very attractive rates and encourage even more people to join the Club.
The rates for the upcoming season (1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022) are:
Family: £95 - two parents/guardians and all children within the family unit up to the age of 18 and students in full time education up to the age of 21 as at 31 August 2021
Juniors: £15 - up to the age of 18 and students in full time education up to the age of 21 as at 31 August 2021
- Please note:
- * Subscriptions are due by 30th April.
- * Unlike previous years, there is no discount for early payment as, this is reflected in the already reduced rates.
- * Subscriptions will not be reduced for people joining during the period 1st April to 30th Sept.
- * The committee reserve the right to review rates during the year. If Covid regulations change it is possible that 2022/23 rates may need to move back to the original 2020/21 levels.
Eligibility for Membership
Membership is open to all without discrimination.
Subscriptions are agreed at the AGM and are due on 1 April annually. Subscriptions must be paid before the end of April, after which time play will not be allowed at any time, including league matches.
|Junior Membership||Children up to the age of 18 and students in full time education up to the age of 21 as at 31 August.|

Members are responsible for collecting visitor's fees from each of their guests each playing session and handing it to the Treasurer or any committee member. Adult fee £2.00. Junior fee £1.00. The maximum number of guests is limited to three per member. Potential members are allowed to play at the Club up to a maximum of 3 times during a season, and after that, must apply for Membership.
